Course Details

The amenities are nice but the real star of the show at Balmoral Golf Club is the high quality of the course design. Balmoral's beauty distinguishes itself from other Indianapolis courses with a stunning 9-hole design with 18 tee boxes, serving up tees that range from 130 yards in length to as much as 443 from the back tees. Here at Balmoral Golf Club we have created the rare design that can challenge the most experienced players while the shorter length and slower pace of play allows newer golfers to relax and enjoy themselves. Balmoral is truly a must-play course.

More Info

*Established in 1999, and opened for play the following year,Balmoral Golf Club started with just family and friends playing the course.  In 2007 invitatations were exrended to add additional members.

*Each hole has two official distinct tee boxes, providing an 18 hole layout from both sets of tees. There is also a set of short "red" tees for a total of three sets of tees.

*Golf practice facilities include a short practice (warm up)  range, a putting green and a separate hole (The 10th Hole). Many Balmoral members will play the 10th hole after their round using the "Eaton's Revenge" format. With three holes cut in the green golfers "calls out" the flag they are playing at AFTER the ball is in the air.

*Our beautiful clubhouse features a meeting area, fireplace, and limited kitchen, with an outdoor deck over looking a scenic small lake and beach. It is a wonderful environment for golf outings, catered events and meetings.

*Electric carts are included in your membership, but walking is encouraged as Balmoral is fairly flat and very "walkable". Pull carts are available and included in the membership.

*The varied terrain coupled with multiple water hazards makes a very interesting test of golf, enjoyable to players of all skill levels.  USGA course  rating is 66.7 (par 66) with slope rating of 137. From the "tips" balmoral is ranked the 13th most difficult course in Indiana.
